This unique warehouse flat in East London — originally an industrial factory — was bursting with character but in need of a decorative overhaul and spatial reconfiguration.
Our client wanted to create a social space to suit his lifestyle and the unique open-plan layout of the flat. Project managing the entire redesign, we quickly found that the quirky structure of the building was a challenge due to lack of clear wall-space and a range of ceiling heights. A clever, bespoke design combined off-the-shelf and made-to-measure elements to build efficient storage around a central island. Simple white carcasses were complemented by natural stone, and the innate industrial elements of the space were accentuated with bold feature pendants, a dark grey accent, and pop of bold orange.
