Bodyism founder James Duigan commissioned us to design his flagship members club in Notting Hill. Our brief was to create a warm, welcoming, but suitably luxurious environment that emphasised the brand's wellbeing credentials and supported James' mission to make his clients feel good about themselves.
We took our lead from the architecture and heritage of this stunning old post office—carefully sourced Portland stone was used internally to mirror the external facade, alongside a simple palette of marble and rustic oak with rustic waxed-steel finishes. This project wasn’t without its technical challenges—a groundbreaking purified air system needing to be installed, and a multi-use proposition which required a flexible, adaptable layout.
